About Allison

The most powerful moments in my work are when a client experiences an epiphany. They may feel an exclamatory “eureka!” or a more quiet “aha”—in either case, they suddenly realize how long-held attitudes and behaviors are standing in their way. They see how other ways of thinking and acting can help them become the professionals they aspire to be. I live for these moments. I’m passionate about guiding people through the process of self-reflection and discovery and helping them develop the skills and attitudes they need to lead boldly, manage effectively, and make a difference in their workplaces and the world.

My coaching and consulting work is informed by nearly 20 years of experience. I spent the first half of my career in small and mid-sized NGOs where I built and ran training departments, drove learning strategy, managed people, and served on leadership teams. I launched my own business in 2014 and have spent the past 10 years designing and leading management development programs, coaching leaders and teams, and mediating interpersonal conflicts. The common thread in all this work: helping people maximize their personal and professional potential in service of social change.

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC-level) with the International Coaching Federation and hold a certificate in Brain-based Coaching from the NeuroLeadership Institute. I am also a trained mediator with experience serving on the Global Mediation Panel at the Office of the Ombudsman for UN Funds and Programmes.

I work with international NGOs, non-profits, B-corporations, and other for-profit companies whose mission is to strengthen people, communities, and the planet. My client list includes: the International Rescue Committee, the United Nations, Sesame Workshop, Charm Industrial, and many others.

I work in more than a dozen countries worldwide giving me the opportunity to develop a high level of cross-cultural competence and flexibility. I'm fluent in English and speak intermediate-level Danish and Spanish. Home is Copenhagen where I live with my husband and our daughter.
